ERASMUS is one of components of the ERASMUS Education Program that operates in 30 European countries. The aim of this program is to increase the level of education and strengthen European bonds between higher education institutions. The program participants gain knowledge and life experience in the EU reality and improve their language skills abroad. The advantage of the program are also international contacts and friendships.

We encourage to the participation in the Erasmus Program!!!

Higher education institutions that participate in the Erasmus Program:

  • organize and facilitate the exchange of students and academic teachers
  • introduce and use the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS)
  • prepare new teaching programs
  • organize international Intensive Programs
  • participate in Erasmus Thematic Networks

Higher education institutions are eligible to participate in the program based on Erasmus Card granted by the European Commission. On this condition, the AMU can participate in the Erasmus Program for four consecutive academic years, i.e. 2003/04-2006/07. The exchange of students and academic teachers is based on bilateral agreements between partner institutions.

Funds for the organization of exchange and scholarships are granted each year (March/April) by the State Agency, depending on the resources transferred by the European Commission.
