The prerequisites of graduation and obtaining the Master's degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Environmental Protection, Bioinformatics or Neurobiology are following:

  • credits from all subjects that are included in the program of Master's degree studies,
  • passing grade for a Master's thesis,
  • passing grade for the Master's degree examination.

Depending on the selected major field of study and specialization, a graduate can receive one of the following Master's degree diplomas:

  • in Biology - in the field of Molecular biology, Biology of cell and organism, Human biology, Evolutionary biology, Biology of population, Landscape ecology or Teaching Biology,
  • in Biotechnology,
  • in Environmental Protection in the field of Protection of terrestrial environments, Protection of aquatic environments, Environmental management,
  • in Bioinformatics
  • in Neurobiology

Master degree programs in English


MSc in Biotechnology


MSc study programme introduces you to the biomedical aspects of biotechnology, intellectual property management, business and entrepreneurship.

The programme covers the latest concepts, achievements, and methodologies of medical biotechnology. It will develop the necessary practical skills in biomedical and molecular biology techniques, project management, will give a hands-on experience with commonly used as well as sophisticated instrumentation, and will explore the requirements of bioeconomy and biotechnological legislation.

MSc in Environmental protection


The programme is designed for those who want to become experts in identification and evaluation of the biotic components of ecosystems in accordance with the current rules and regulations of national and European laws.
